5S management on-site training in June 2022
The 5S in production management is sorting (SEIRI), rectification (SEITON), sweeping (SEISO), cleaning (SEIKETSU), and literacy (SHITSUKE), also known as the "law of five constants". , and even take the 5S management system as a magic weapon for the normalized management of the production workshop. On June 9, the company convened some front-line production workers in the workshop to elaborate the 5S management mechanism through a combination of theoretical training and on-site observation. Once again reiterated the company's 5S management system.
5S originated in Japan, which refers to the effective management of production factors such as personnel, machines, materials, and methods in the production site. This is a unique management method for Japanese companies. In 1955, the propaganda slogan of Japan's 5S was "Safety begins with sorting, and finally sorting and sorting". Only the first two Ss were implemented at that time, and their purpose was only to ensure the adequacy and safety of the working space. In 1986, the Japanese 5S book gradually came out, which had an impact on the entire field management model, and thus set off a 5S upsurge.
(1) Sorting
It is the first step to start improving the production site by separating the people, things and things that you want and things you don't need, and then disposing of those people, things, and things that you don't need. The main point is to classify the actual placement and stagnant items on the production site, and distinguish what is needed on site and what is not needed on site; Semi-finished products, cut ends, chips, garbage, waste products, redundant tools, scrapped equipment, workers' personal household items, etc., must be resolutely cleaned out of the production site. The focus of this work is to resolutely clean up the things that are not needed on the site Lose. The front and rear of each station or equipment in the workshop, the left and right of the passage, the upper and lower parts of the workshop, the inside and outside of the toolbox, and the various dead corners of the workshop should be thoroughly searched and cleaned up to achieve everything that is not needed on site. Resolutely doing this step well is the beginning of establishing a good style. Some companies in Japan put forward the slogan: Efficiency and safety start with sorting!
(2) Rectification
Quantify and locate the people, things, and things you need. After finishing the previous step, scientifically and reasonably arrange and place the items that need to be left at the production site, so as to obtain the required items as quickly as possible, and complete the operation under the most effective rules, systems and the most simple process.
(3) Sweeping
Clean up the workplace, and repair the equipment immediately when it is abnormal to make it back to normal. The production site will produce dust, oil, iron filings, garbage, etc. during the production process, which will make the site dirty. Dirty sites will reduce the accuracy of equipment, frequent failures, affect product quality, and make safety accidents hard to prevent; dirty sites will also affect people's work mood and make people unwilling to stay for a long time. Therefore, it is necessary to remove those dirt through cleaning activities to create a bright and comfortable working environment.
(4)Cleaning
After finishing, tidying, and cleaning, careful maintenance is required to keep the site in perfect and optimal condition. Cleaning is the persistence and deepening of the first three activities, so as to eliminate the root cause of safety accidents. Create a good working environment so that employees can work happily.
(5) Literacy
Literacy means upbringing. Efforts to improve the literacy of personnel and develop the habit and style of strictly abiding by rules and regulations are the core of the "5S" activities. Without the improvement of personnel quality, various activities cannot be carried out smoothly, and they cannot be carried out. Therefore, to grasp the "5S" activities, we must always focus on improving the quality of people.
