The plastic drainage board is made of polystyrene(HIPS) or polyethylene (HDPE), stamped and made into a conical projection or a stiffened rib (or a hollow cylindrical porous). Now the raw material have been replaced with polyvinyl chloride (PVC）, which compressive strength and overall flatness have been greatly improved.
Plastic Drainage Board Specification:
Thickness: 0.8mm-2mm
Higher: 8mm-20mm
Width is 2-4meters ad the length is 4-15 meters or more.
Plastic Drainage Board Features and Advantage:
1. Good water drainage
2. Good strength and ductility, No effect for drainage if ground foundation deformed.
3. Small section size of the drainage plate. There would be a low impact on disturbance to the foundation during the application.
4. Available in super-soft ground.
5. Efficient construction and short duration. Each boarding machine can insert more than 1500m per day. The cost is lower than that of bag sand wells. Considering technology and cost, drainage boards is almost the most economical, effective and feasible method when the drainage consolidation method is used to strengthen deep soft soil foundations.
